The Wyoming SHEEP Foundation was formed by the Wyoming Wool Growers Association to be a dedicated resource for the promotion of Wyoming’s rich sheep ranching heritage and the products and benefits derived from sheep. We strive to support fun and effective educational and scientific projects that convey the significant contributions of the sheep industry.

Wyoming Sheep & Wool Festival
The Wyoming Sheep Foundation serves as the fiscal sponsor of the Wyoming Wool Growers Sheep and Wool Festival, a fun and annual gathering that unites historic, artistic, cultural and educational offerings showcasing and celebrating Wyoming’s sheep and wool heritage within its host community. It is a great way to help the public understand the benefits and contributions that sheep have to a community and highlights what Wyoming has to offer.

Industry Meetings & Schools
The Foundation seeks to provide support for young and emerging producers who desire to attend meetings or programs designed to help improve their production practices, and/or lamb and wool projects.
